Pagoda Avalokitesvara located in Jl. Perintis Kemerdekaan Semarang. Pagoda Avalokitesvara means comppasion, built with materials and sculpture were all imported from China to honor the Goddess of Love, the Kwan Im. The monastery Bodhagaya Watugong-Semarang has a height of 45 meters and consists of seven levels with each of the four statues of Goddess Kwan Im facing winds at each level.
Pagoda Avalokitesvara is the highest pagoda in Indonesia who had entered MURI that expected to be a place for unifying all Buddhist sects that exist in Indonesia.
