Parasailing at Tanjung Benoa

When you are visiting bali island you should try one of water sport at tanjung benoa. One of the exiting water sport activity is parasailing. The feel of holiday has felt when we landed at ngurah rai airport. Many tourist passing at the airport just wearing T-shirt + hot pant, flip, surfboards and sunglasses off course. 

If you go to the sanur beach  don't forget to have breakfast  nasi campur ( balinese spycy food ) at " nasi campur  Made Weti " Pantai segara street, Sanur Denpasar, Bali. open at 06.00 am - 14.00 pm WITA . Nasi campur is one of  bali cuisine, Served with white rice, the main dish is shredded coconut, chicken, topped with hard-boiled egg and sambal, jukut urap, fried peanuts and chicken skin crackers.  The portion is quite huge for breakfast and maybe a little too rich for westerners taste buds, but at around Rp 20.000 per dish is without any doubt the best authentic Balinese breakfast you can find while staying in Sanur. Beside nasi campur there are another balinese food such lawar and ayam betutu that you should try. 

GWK (Garuda Wisnu Kencana), symbolized by the statue of the god Wisnu, who stood on the hill Unggasan. Statue of Lord Wisnu has 20 meters high. In the sights GWK (Garuda Wisnu Kencana), visitors can enjoy the view of sunrise and sunset. This place has a strategic location with only 10 minutes drive from Ngurah Rai airport, 25 minutes from from Kuta, and 20 minutes from Benoa and Nusa Dua harbor.

We often visit this palce at night because we can enjoy the panoramic view of Denpasar Airport, harbor and Denpasar City which are mostly beautiful seen at night time. 

In Bali, the perfect place to enjoying sunset are kuta beach and " tanah lot " while sanur beach is the perfect place to see sunrise.

Sam Po Kong Temple Semarang

Sam Poo Kong also known as Gedung Batu Temple, is the oldest Chinese Temple in semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. Originally established by Chinese Muslim explorer, it is now shared by indonesians of multiple religious denominations, including muslims and buddhists and ethnicities including chinese and javanese.

Sam Po Kong Temple is a temple located in the eastern Semarang, which is used as a place of worship and pilgrimage, but also attractive for the tourist attractions. To enter this temple you only have to pay IDR 5000,- and only by paying IDR 80.000,- you can take a picture like emperor or empress with a big temple around you. Or you can take some picture with your own style by your own camera. This place usually very crowded on holidays or on a Friday night.

Cave Tubing Pindul & Body Rafting Oyo River

It is located within Bejiharjo Village in Karangmojo, Gunung Kidul, about 50 kilometers from city of Yogyakarta. Cave tubing is a combination of rafting and caving by using a rubber tube. You can enjoy the trips by lay inside a set of tubes and following the drift of the underground river. You can enjoy drifting along the Pindul River underground with its unique caves. It filled with a cluster of bats, the magnificient stalactites within. 

To try this trip  you'll need to spend about IDR 30.000/pax(US $4), and for River Tubing Sungai Oyo (Oyo River) the cost was  IDR 45.000 (US$5). We only  took package for Cave Tubing Goa Pindul and River Tubing Sungai Oyo . That cost include standard safety cave tubing equipment. 

Goa Pindul is a cave with an underground river. If come on summer the color of water is green, but it turns brown during the rain season. We were accompanied by one guide actually they are local people that work for Goa Pindul but they are really professional. They can across the river without tubes, the guides gave us some instructions about what we should and shouldn't do.

Karimunjawa Island

My trip to Karimunjawa Island  ( may 11 - 13 2012 ) made me realize that what many people always say about " Indonesia is a wonderful country " it is very really true. This trip has opened my mind and my eyes that I have to see more about Indonesia. This Island is just a little part of Indonesia and there are still many, many and many more beautifull place that I have to explore.

To reach this island you have to cross by ship ( kapal cepat bahari express ) from kartini port  ( jepara ) , it cost about IDR 85.000. You should book a return ticket first because the ship is not crossing everyday and the seat is limited. If you want to go alone without a travel angency, you must learn the schedule first " if you don't want to miss the ship " :D .

From Jepara to  Karimunjawa island :

From Karimunjawa island to Jepara :

Because I do not want to be bothered so I decided to use a travel agency. They have organized all my needs during trip in karimunjawa island including boat ticket, hotel, meals and more.

First time when I landed off the ship .. You know what I feel ? I walk slowly .. and get faster, faster and more while saying " oh my God .. oh my God " this is really awesome " green clear water and plenty of fish flags on there. It's only the begining and the underwater world of karimunjawa island is more than that.

Karimujawa is a small island with few population, during the day there is no electricity, we can get power at 06.00 PM until 06.00 AM, this place is deserted and quiet it's perfect for people who need peaceful.  Lovely clean place with a stretch of white sand beach. What a perfect summer holiday. One thing that i like most is the people there are very aware of the environment.

Nusakambangan island and Pendem Fortress

December 2012, Little has been said about the beauty of Nusakambangan Island in Cilacap regency, Central Java, as it is more famous for its maximum security prison, which is home to criminals and terrorists, than as a tourism destination.

To reach this island people have to cross by boat from teluk penyu ( turtle bay ) in cilacap for about 15 minutes. I am visited the east part of nusakambangan island where there is Portuguese heritage historical fortress and white sandy beaches and beautifull coral one of them called " karang bolong beach ".

To reach the beaches we had to walk about 30 minutes through the woods where there are lots of various plants.especially herb.

Pendem fortress is unique place because almost all of physical part of this fortress are hidden in the ground. In the fortress there is a number of buildings which is built in the ground. Part of the fortress are : barrack, defence, crypt / tunnel, ammunition room, prison, space weapon, accomodation room, health room, well, fortress building, warehouse and kitchen building, stock house building, chamber officer, surveillance building, trench. It is located in cilacap village, south cilacap district in the teluk penyu region.
